Accounts Payable Specialist

• Process high volumes of invoices with precision and efficiency
• Verify and ensure all vouchers and invoices are accurate and complete
• Manage invoices from various sources, including the accounts payable mailbox and physical documents
• Perform project cost coding for engineering-related expenses
• Utilize Deltek Vantagepoint software to process, post, and mark up invoices
• Coordinate with cross-departmental teams to address discrepancies and ensure smooth operations
• Scan and maintain organized records of invoices and related documentation
• Participate in knowledge transfer and overlap training during the transition phase
• Execute payment runs, including ACH transactions and checks, in a timely manner
• Contribute to maintaining a trustworthy and team-oriented work environment

• Proven experience in high-volume accounts payable processing
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure
• Proficiency in using Deltek Vantagepoint software
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively across departments
• Knowledge of project cost coding for engineering projects
• Ability to handle automated clearing house (ACH) and check payment processes
• Tech-savvy with the ability to adapt to new systems and tools
• Genuine team player with a trustworthy and resilient attitude

Experience with similar systems is a plus
