Job Description:

This is a 3 month long Contract position where you will play a key role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and collaborating with various departments to maintain efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and a keen attention to detail.

Job Responsibility:

Process vendor invoices in the Accounts Payable system, route them through the appropriate workflow, and ensure timely payment via checks or electronic transfers
Post daily entries to the general ledger and generate finance-related reports to support ongoing operations
Perform daily reconciliations of general ledger accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies in collaboration with other departments
Monitor and balance the back-up withholding general ledger account, address variances, and remit payments bi-weekly in compliance with organizational policies
Coordinate funding for both domestic and international wire transfers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company guidelines
Assist with the verification and processing of wire transfers for the Finance department, maintaining detailed and accurate wire transfer records

Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role
Proficiency in using accounting software systems to manage financial processes
Strong knowledge of accounts payable functions and procedures
Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and related processes
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Ability to analyze and resolve discrepancies in financial records
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors
