Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join a company in Sanford, Florida. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a key role in managing and processing invoices efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in high-volume accounts payable operations and familiarity with industry-specific accounting practices.

Job Responsibility:

Process a high volume of invoices with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring timely payment to vendors
Utilize Stampli software to streamline invoice approval and payment workflows
Manage purchase order workflows, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies in a prompt manner
Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure seamless integration of accounts payable processes
Maintain detailed records and documentation for all accounts payable activities
Provide support for month-end and year-end closing processes
Assist in the implementation of best practices to improve accounts payable efficiency
Ensure compliance with industry standards, particularly within the construction sector

Requirements:

Proficiency in using Stampli software for invoice processing
Strong experience in handling high-volume accounts payable operations
Solid understanding of purchase order workflows and their application in accounting
Familiarity with accounting practices in the construction industry
Hands-on experience with NetSuite accounting software
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting functions
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
