Accounts Payable Specialist

• Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes, including coding, entering, and verifying invoices
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Prepare and post journal entries during month-end closing activities
• Utilize QuickBooks to maintain and update financial records with precision
• Oversee inventory reconciliation and manage vendor invoice processing
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely payments and resolve discrepancies
• Supervise up to three staff members and provide guidance on accounts payable tasks
• Review outstanding invoices and follow up with vendors as necessary
• Generate and prepare checks for vendor payments
• Assist in maintaining compliance with financial policies and procedures

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field strongly preferred
• Minimum of 2–4 years of hands-on experience in full-cycle accounts payable
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, including Enterprise, Online, Premier, and Pro versions
• Strong knowledge of bank and credit card reconciliation processes
• Familiarity with invoice coding and vendor invoice management
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to supervise and mentor a small team effectively
