Accounts Payable Specialist

• Process invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Manage vendor accounts and reconcile statements on a monthly basis
• Perform account coding and invoice entry using Sage Intacct
• Handle purchase orders and ensure proper documentation for all transactions
• Conduct check runs, ACH transfers, and credit card reconciliations
• Collaborate with project accountants to align sub-billing practices with purchasing module requirements
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes
• Communicate effectively with vendors, including correspondence in Spanish when applicable
• Maintain compliance with construction industry standards and practices
• Support cash reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliation efforts

• Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role
• Familiarity with Sage Intacct or other accounting software
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of construction accounting practices is highly preferred
• Ability to reconcile vendor accounts and manage purchase orders
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work 100% onsite in Monroe, North Carolina
