Accounts Payable Specialist

• Manage the full cycle accounts payable process, including coding, processing inventory and non-inventory bills, and reconciling accounts
• Process inventory bills and credit memos with a strong understanding of debits and credits
• Prepare and execute weekly payment runs and proposals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Perform account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Collaborate closely with supply chain and warehouse teams to address inquiries and ensure smooth operations
• Utilize analytical skills to identify and solve problems related to accounts payable
• Sort and manage incoming invoices and correspondence to ensure efficient workflow
• Use Microsoft Excel tools, such as pivot tables and vlookups, to organize and analyze data
• Assist with check runs, wire transfers, and other payment processing tasks when required

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field
• Proficiency in full cycle accounts payable processes, including invoice coding and payment preparation
• Strong knowledge of account reconciliations and financial accuracy
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with various departments
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and vlookups
• Highly detail-oriented with a focus on organizational accuracy
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities
• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar financial software is preferred
