Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Greer, South Carolina. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an opportunity to contribute to the efficient management of financial transactions and reconciliation processes. The ideal candidate will excel in handling accounts payable tasks with precision and a strong attention to detail.

Job Responsibility:

Process invoices by matching, batching, coding, and entering them accurately into the system
Post and reconcile batch transactions to ensure financial data integrity
Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable and receivable with vendors and customers
Update sub-ledgers and reconcile them with the general ledger to maintain accurate records
Manage cash applications, account reconciliations, and chargebacks efficiently
Perform check runs and handle Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for all financial processes

Requirements:

Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role
Strong knowledge of invoice coding, batching, and reconciliation processes
Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and check run procedures
Ability to research and resolve financial discrepancies with vendors and customers
Proficiency in maintaining accurate sub-ledger and general ledger records
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with vendors and team members
