We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Stuart, Florida. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in managing high-volume invoice processing and ensuring accurate financial operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with experience in accounts payable seeking a long-term role.
Job Responsibility:
Process full-cycle accounts payable, handling both purchase order (PO) and non-PO invoices
Perform three-way matching to reconcile invoices with purchase orders and receipts
Manage high-volume invoice processing, handling up to 100 invoices daily with precision
Utilize accounting software such as Sage 100 to streamline financial operations
Ensure accurate coding of invoices and account entries
Conduct regular check runs and Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions
Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments
Maintain organized records of transactions and documentation for auditing purposes
Support compliance with company policies and procedures
Assist with additional tasks related to accounts payable as needed
Requirements:
Proven experience in accounts payable, including full-cycle processing
Proficiency in three-way matching and handling purchase orders
Ability to manage high volumes of invoices efficiently and accurately
Familiarity with accounting software, with Sage 100 experience being a plus
Strong understanding of account coding and invoice reconciliation
Experience with ACH transactions and check runs
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Prior experience in a publicly traded company is beneficial but not mandatory
