Job Description:

Robert Half has partnered with a growing organization in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. This position involves managing daily accounts payable functions, ensuring vendor setup accuracy, reconciling accounts, and processing payments efficiently. A great opportunity for professionals with full-cycle AP and high-volume invoice experience.

Job Responsibility:

Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, including verifying, coding, and processing invoices daily
Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies promptly
Facilitate vendor setup/maintenance, ensuring compliance with company policies
Process payments, including checks, ACH, and wires, with accuracy
Maintain records and documentation to ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations
Leverage Sage for efficient financial management and reporting
Create and update spreadsheets in Excel to track payable metrics and improve process efficiency.

Requirements:

Proven experience in accounts payable, preferably in a high-volume environment
Proficiency in Sage and strong Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage time effectively and work both independently and collaboratively
Outstanding communication skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
