Job Description

Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Full-Time Engagement Professional (FTEP) team. In this role, you are a full-time Robert Half employee, earning a competitive salary along with comprehensive benefits, overtime eligibility, and bonus opportunities. Job Responsibility

  • Match, batch, code, and enter invoices
  • Post and reconcile AP batches
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Reconcile AP subledger to the general ledger
  • Maintain capital lease and monthly payment schedules
  • Use Excel (VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables) to analyze data

Requirements

  • 3+ years of accounting or accounts payable experience
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience with large ERP/accounting systems
  • Adaptability and eagerness to learn
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or accounts payable roles
  • Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions like VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
  • Familiarity with large accounting systems and their processes
  • Strong ability to adapt to new environments and learn quickly
  • Proven experience with full-cycle accounts payable, including high-volume invoice handling
  • Knowledge of three-way matching, batching, and coding invoices
  • Understanding of Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and check runs
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
