Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist for our client in Cincinnati, OH. This role is well-suited for accounting professionals who excel in high-volume environments, thrive on accuracy, and possess experience working with multiple entities. The ideal candidate will be proficient in JD Edwards and have expertise in invoice processing and three-way matching to ensure smooth financial operations.

Job Responsibility:

Receive, review, and process high volumes of invoices accurately and efficiently
Perform three-way matching for purchase orders, receiving reports, and vendor invoices to ensure compliance with company policies
Manage accounts payable across multiple business entities, ensuring transactions are timely and coded correctly
Operate and maintain accounts payable records within JD Edwards, effectively leveraging the system’s functionalities to optimize workflows
Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies, answer inquiries, and facilitate on-time payment
Conduct month-end payables reconciliations and assist with audit support when needed

Requirements:

2+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a multi-entity environment
Strong proficiency in JD Edwards or similar ERP systems
Strong understanding of A/P processes such as three-way matching and general ledger coding
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in processing large volumes of data
Strong communication and problem-solving skills for working with vendors and internal stakeholders
