Job Description:

The accounting department at IKEA of Sweden supports several Inter IKEA companies with accounting services. The role involves managing accounts payable processes, ensuring proper handling of invoices, maintaining supplier master data, supporting co-workers and suppliers, and improving processes.

Job Responsibility:

Provide timely and clear support related to the Accounts Payable (AP) process
ensure all invoices are coded with correct accounting string, VAT code, and processed according to PoA for the Inter IKEA Company
maintain the supplier master data and users of the AP invoice handling system
participate in monthly closings of the AP system and the accruals of invoices
provide support connected to the accounts payable processes to co-workers and external suppliers
create and load supplier payment proposals in a timely and accurate way
actively participate in work to increase efficiency and quality
participate in creating/maintaining manuals, guides, and routines to improve processes.

Requirements:

Working experience within Swedish Accounting- and VAT legislation connected with the Account Payables processes
good knowledge in Swedish and English, both writing and speech
knowledge in Microsoft Office, Excel, and experience from working with financial systems
bachelor’s degree in business administration, YH-education in Accounting, or equivalent working experience
curious and open to new ways of working
accurate, analytical, and attention to details
service-minded and communicates in a clear and simple way
structured and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
