Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join a growing team in Miami, Florida in a contract-to-permanent capacity. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume, deadline-driven setting and can manage vendor payments with accuracy and confidence. The position is fully on-site and offers the opportunity to contribute immediately within a collaborative office environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, from invoice receipt through final payment processing
  • Review invoices against supporting documentation to confirm proper coding, approvals, and contract alignment
  • Enter and process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Reconcile vendor statements regularly and investigate discrepancies to ensure timely resolution
  • Communicate with vendors to answer payment questions, request missing information, and follow up on outstanding items
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date vendor records to support accurate payment processing and reporting
  • Use Yardi and related property management accounting tools to manage payable transactions efficiently
  • Prioritize urgent payment activities and adapt quickly to changing business demands in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of hands-on accounts payable experience in a high-volume setting
  • Proven ability to manage full-cycle AP responsibilities with strong accuracy and follow-through
  • Experience with invoice entry, vendor maintenance, statement reconciliation, and payment research
  • Proficiency with Yardi, including Yardi Enterprise, Yardi Property Management, or similar Yardi platforms
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders
  • High level of organization, sound judgment, and attention to detail under pressure
  • Availability to start immediately or within the current week
  • Comfortable working on-site in Miami, Florida within a fast-moving office environment
