Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Boynton, Florida. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounts payable processes. This position requires strong organizational skills, a commitment to meeting deadlines, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Job Responsibility:

Process and review invoices to ensure accuracy, proper coding, and necessary approvals
Reconcile vendor statements and promptly address any discrepancies
Manage timely payments for vendor invoices and employee expense reimbursements
Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation to support audits and compliance requirements
Contribute to month-end closing activities by preparing accounts payable reports and reconciliations
Partner with procurement and other teams to resolve payment-related issues efficiently
Participate in the implementation of process improvements and automation efforts within the accounts payable function
Generate reports and analyze accounts payable metrics, including aging and payment trends

Requirements:

Proven experience in accounts payable or related financial roles
Strong knowledge of invoice processing, account coding, and reconciling vendor statements
Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with automated payment systems, such as ACH and check runs
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and problem-solving skills to collaborate across teams
Experience with process improvement initiatives is a plus
Knowledge of systems is beneficial but not required
