Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis. Based in Miami, Florida, this role focuses on handling high-volume transactions and managing end-to-end accounts payable processes. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in vendor management and proficiency in utilizing SAP Ariba for seamless operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Process and manage high volumes of accounts payable transactions efficiently and accurately
  • Execute full-cycle accounts payable tasks, including 3-way matching for invoices, purchase orders, and receipts
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships by resolving discrepancies and ensuring timely payments
  • Route wires and handle Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions with precision
  • Utilize SAP Ariba to streamline invoice coding and payment procedures
  • Conduct check runs and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Perform account coding and invoice processing in alignment with organizational standards
  • Collaborate with internal teams to reconcile accounts and resolve payment issues
  • Analyze and review financial data to identify and correct errors
  • Adhere to established accounting and financial controls

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role
  • Proficiency in SAP Ariba and SAP systems for accounts payable operations
  • Strong knowledge of 3-way matching, vendor management, and invoice coding
  • Experience in handling wire transfers, ACH transactions, and check runs
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Excellent communication skills for effective vendor and team collaboration
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and financial controls
