Accounts Payable Specialist

• Process a high volume of invoices, up to 100 daily, including both purchase order (PO) and non-PO invoices
• Perform three-way matching to ensure accuracy between purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
• Accurately code and enter invoices into the system, following established guidelines
• Handle payment processing through Automated Clearing House (ACH) transfers and check runs
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments
• Maintain organized and accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
• Utilize Sage 100 software for invoice processing and data management
• Assist with vendor communications to address inquiries and resolve payment issues
• Support month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
• Adhere to company policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with financial regulations

• Proven experience in accounts payable processing, including full-cycle AP
• Ability to handle high volumes of invoices efficiently and accurately
• Familiarity with three-way matching and purchase order systems
• Strong knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments and check runs
• Proficiency in using accounting software, with Sage 100 experience preferred
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with vendors and internal teams

Experience working within a publicly traded company is a plus but not required
