Accounts Payable Specialist

• Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and project details to ensure accuracy
• Process a high volume of invoices efficiently while adhering to company protocols
• Collaborate with purchasing teams and project managers to resolve discrepancies in documentation
• Generate and maintain vendor statements to support payment processing and reconciliation
• Utilize Penta Technologies software and Excel for tracking and reporting financial data
• Manage account coding and ensure all transactions are properly recorded
• Conduct ACH and check runs to facilitate timely payments
• Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and maintain smooth operations
• Maintain a business casual dress code and work on-site five days per week
• Ensure compliance with company standards and policies within the steel manufacturing industry

• Extensive experience in accounts payable processes, including invoice coding and payment processing
• Proficiency in using Penta Technologies software and advanced Microsoft Excel functions
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with purchasing teams and project managers
• Familiarity with ACH transactions and check run procedures
• Experience working in construction or manufacturing environments is highly desirable
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to address discrepancies
• Knowledge of vendor management and reconciliation processes
