Accounts Payable Specialist

• Process and enter vendor invoices with accuracy and efficiency
• Ensure timely payments to vendors while maintaining compliance with company policies
• Address vendor inquiries by researching accounts and providing clear resolutions
• Collaborate with purchasing and receiving departments to verify purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
• Perform three-way matching to ensure invoice accuracy and proper documentation
• Reconcile accounts to ensure financial records are up-to-date and error-free
• Utilize software tools, including Microsoft Excel and Epicor, to streamline accounts payable processes
• Conduct check runs and ensure proper coding of invoices
• Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement within the accounts payable function
• Support the consolidation of administrative functions across multiple branches

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
• Solid understanding of accounting and finance principles
• Experience with Epicor or similar ERP systems is highly desirable
• Ability to perform three-way matching and reconcile accounts effectively
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams
• Capability to handle high volumes of data entry with accuracy
