Accounts Payable Specialist

• Provide administrative and clerical support to the accounts payable and finance departments
• Accurately execute daily processes and controls in compliance with company policies and procedures
• Deliver exceptional customer service to internal business partners
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support
• Open, sort, and distribute incoming department mail for efficient processing
• Organize, log, photocopy, and file invoices, checks, and other financial documents
• Prepare, verify, and mail checks, including handling special requests with urgency
• Participate in special projects and assignments as directed by management

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in an accounts payable role is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools
• Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask effectively
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle frequent interruptions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and financial professionals
• Familiarity with accounts payable processes, including account coding, invoice processing, and check runs

Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions is a plus
