Job Description:

This role is essential to ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of vendor payments while maintaining detailed financial records to support informed decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounts payable processes and a strong commitment to operational efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

Review and accurately code vendor invoices for entry into the accounting system
Process payments in adherence to established approval workflows and payment terms
Develop and manage invoice approval workflows to ensure smooth operations
Schedule payments strategically to optimize discounts and cash flow
Maintain up-to-date vendor records and build precise and reliable relationships with vendor accounting teams
Generate detailed spend reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures in all payment activities
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes

Requirements:

Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting
Familiarity with high-volume accounts payable environments
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, or similar platforms
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
Strong understanding of accounting principles and payables procedures
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management abilities
Effective communication skills with a problem-solving mindset
