Job Responsibility:
Process invoices accurately and efficiently
Post and reconcile AP batches
Investigate and resolve discrepancies
Reconcile AP subledger to the general ledger
Maintain lease and payment schedules
Leverage Excel tools including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
Requirements:
3+ years of accounting or AP experience
Strong Excel and ERP system knowledge
Ability to adapt quickly in new environments
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or accounts payable roles
Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions such as Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
Familiarity with automated clearing house (ACH) payments and check runs
Strong knowledge of invoice coding, batching, and vendor maintenance
Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and workflows
Experience with reconciling accounts payable subledgers and preparing journal entries
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Effective problem-solving abilities to address discrepancies and challenges
