Accounts Payable Specialist

• Review, verify, and process invoices for payment, maintaining high accuracy
• Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts
• Prioritize and execute payments according to company policies and vendor terms
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
• Assist with accounting month-end close related to payables
• Maintain thorough and organized documentation and files
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues
• Support audits and provide required documentation

• Proven accounts payable or related accounting experience
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with JD Edwards ERP is strongly preferred, but not required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
