Accounts Payable Specialist

• Process and code invoices accurately, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures
• Generate and review daily financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Collaborate with shared services teams to streamline accounts payable functions
• Assist the controller with various accounting tasks and financial reporting needs
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Manage accrual accounting processes, including tracking outstanding expenses
• Utilize ERP and accounting software systems for efficient data entry and recordkeeping
• Oversee ACH and other payment methods to ensure timely vendor payments
• Support internal audits by providing relevant documentation and insights
• Contribute to process improvements to enhance the efficiency of accounts payable operations

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role
• Proficiency in accounting software systems, including ERP and Concur
• Strong knowledge of account coding, accrual accounting, and auditing practices
• Familiarity with ACH and other automated payment systems
• Experience with ADP and financial services tools is preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving discrepancies
• Solid understanding of general accounting principles and processes
