Accounts Payable Specialist

• Manage cash disbursements and oversee transactions through banking portals to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, including pricing variances and purchase order mismatches
• Match two-way and three-way invoices efficiently within established cycle times, collaborating with internal teams to address receiving issues
• Conduct vendor statement reconciliations to clear outstanding balances and minimize aging
• Monitor invoices with discount terms to avoid missed opportunities, expediting approvals when necessary
• Perform variance analysis to identify root causes and determine repayment needs when applicable
• Facilitate routine check runs and Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments as part of the accounts payable process
• Ensure proper account coding and accurate processing of invoices
• Maintain strong communication with internal stakeholders and vendors to resolve issues effectively

• Proven experience in accounts payable, including invoice coding and account coding
• Familiarity with ACH payments and check run processes
• Strong analytical skills to resolve discrepancies and perform variance analysis
• Ability to efficiently match two-way and three-way invoices within set timelines
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with vendors and internal teams
• Proficiency in using banking portals and managing cash disbursements
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and organization
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred but not required
