Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team in Huntsville, Alabama. This is a full-time, in-office role ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of accounting and administrative responsibilities and thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Job Responsibility:
Process approximately 80–100 invoices per week with accuracy and efficiency
Prepare and run weekly check payments
Maintain and track purchase orders
Assist with general accounts payable functions and reconciliations
Provide administrative support, including ordering office supplies and stocking common areas
Communicate regularly with field team members to support their operational needs
Assist with various office tasks and projects as needed
Requirements:
Prior experience in accounts payable or similar accounting role preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
Willingness to take on a variety of responsibilities beyond traditional AP duties
Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
