Job Description:

We’re working with a leading manufacturing company in Lafayette, Indiana, seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist for a 3-4-month temporary opportunity. This position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and requires proficiency with SAP, Concur, and Microsoft Excel. The role is fully onsite and perfect for candidates who thrive in collaborative office settings.

Job Responsibility:

Process invoices: Ensure accurate and timely entry of accounts payable invoices into SAP
Expense reports: Audit and reconcile employee expenses through Concur
Vendor payments: Prepare and process payment runs, ensuring all disbursements align with company policies
Account reconciliation: Assist with reconciling accounts payable aging and resolving discrepancies
Reporting: Utilize Excel to compile data, generate reports, and provide insights as needed
Other duties: Support month-end closing processes and assist with additional accounting tasks

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an Accounts Payable role
Strong knowledge of SAP and Concur is required
Solid skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas) are a must
Accuracy and strong organizational skills
A team player who can effectively communicate with vendors and internal departments in a professional manner
Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
