Job Responsibility:
Process and verify invoices with accuracy, ensuring proper coding and adherence to company policies
Conduct 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receipts to maintain payment integrity
Manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and perform check runs efficiently
Handle account coding tasks to align financial transactions with budgetary guidelines
Monitor and resolve discrepancies related to accounts payable processes promptly
Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to address payment inquiries and issues
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company standards during payment cycles
Maintain organized records of accounts payable transactions for audit and reporting purposes
Assist in improving accounts payable workflows and identifying opportunities for automation
Requirements:
Proven experience in accounts payable functions, including invoice processing and coding
Familiarity with 3-way matching procedures and their application in payment verification
Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and check run processes
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing financial data
Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams
Proficiency in accounting software and tools used in accounts payable operations
