Accounts Payable Specialist

• Process invoices with accuracy and ensure proper account coding for timely payments
• Manage check runs and ACH transactions to maintain smooth financial operations
• Handle invoice coding and resolve discrepancies to ensure compliance with company standards
• Collaborate with the property management team to address payment-related issues
• Utilize Yardi software to streamline accounts payable processes and maintain accurate records
• Monitor vendor accounts and reconcile statements to verify balances and transactions
• Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures while processing payments
• Prepare reports and documentation related to accounts payable activities
• Support month-end closing tasks and provide necessary financial data
• Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve inquiries and maintain strong relationships

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related role
• Proficiency in Yardi software and familiarity with property management accounting
• Strong knowledge of ACH transactions, check runs, and invoice coding
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and team members
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Experience in real estate or property management is highly preferred
