Accounts Payable Specialist

• Oversee and manage the entire accounts payable cycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Process and code a high volume of invoices efficiently and accurately
• Handle vendor payments and perform regular reconciliations
• Maintain timely and precise records of all AP-related transactions
• Collaborate with finance team members to enhance and streamline AP workflows
• Utilize Yardi software to manage accounts payable processes and support system integrations
• Ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards in all financial transactions
• Address and resolve discrepancies in invoices or payment processes promptly
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
• Provide support for audits and reporting requirements as needed

• A minimum of 2 years of accounts payable experience, preferably within the real estate or construction sectors
• Expertise in Yardi is essential for this role
• Proven ability to work independently and effectively in a remote setting
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new systems and workflows
• Familiarity with payment processing systems and vendor portal setup is a plus
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of accounting principles, including accrual accounting and auditing practices
