Job Description:

This Contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to financial operations by ensuring accuracy and efficiency in payment processing and recordkeeping. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented approach to managing financial transactions and reconciliation tasks.

Job Responsibility:

Generate and analyze financial reports to identify trends and discrepancies
Accurately input financial transactions into accounting systems
Reconcile accounts and statements to ensure all records are balanced and accurate
Maintain organized financial records, both electronic and physical, for easy accessibility
Review financial documents and transactions thoroughly to confirm accuracy and completeness
Apply critical thinking and analytical skills to solve issues and improve processes
Conduct research on financial transactions to resolve discrepancies or questions
Collaborate with other accounting staff during peak workflow periods or absences
Assist the Controller or other team members with special projects and ad hoc tasks
Uphold confidentiality standards while handling sensitive financial information

Requirements:

Proficiency in account coding and accounting software systems, including ADP and Concur
Experience with ERP systems and enterprise-level financial operations
Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and accrual accounting
Familiarity with auditing procedures and Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions
Ability to interpret and apply accounting principles accurately
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and external stakeholders
