Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts payable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

Review, verify, and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts, ensuring accuracy and proper approvals
Prepare and process check runs, ACH, and wire payments
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor files and records
Assist with month-end closing, accruals, and reporting
Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment or billing issues
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures

Requirements:

1–3 years of accounts payable or related accounting experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with accounting/ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
