Job Description:

Are you an experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist/Manager with a background in the construction industry? Reporting to the Controller and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this role will focus on managing full-cycle accounts payable processes and assisting with construction accounting, including job costing and related responsibilities.

Job Responsibility:

Full-cycle AP processing, including vendor management and payment scheduling
Support construction-specific accounting tasks such as job costing, expense tracking, and project accounting
Ensure compliance with financial controls, policies, and procedures
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Assist the Controller with account reconciliations, audits, and other financial tasks as required

Requirements:

Previous experience in the construction industry is required
Proven track record of success in full-cycle accounts payable processing
Helpful to understand construction accounting principles, including job costing
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
Proven experience in accounts payable, preferably within the construction industry
Familiarity with general accounting principles and practices
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively with accounting teams and other departments
