Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist/Analyst to support our clients Latin America region through detailed various tasks within the process. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Accounts Payable Manager to ensure adherence to global corporate procedures while helping to refine and document local payment processes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct thorough payment reviews to ensure compliance with global accounts payable standards
  • Collaborate with Latin America offices to define and document local accounts payable procedures
  • Analyze and reconcile compensating controls, ensuring vendor compliance and proper payment approvals
  • Perform audit-like reviews to validate payments against established corporate processes
  • Support the Accounts Payable Manager with ad-hoc tasks and reconciliations
  • Ensure proper validation plans are in place for payment processing and compliance
  • Utilize ERP systems such as JD Edwards EnterpriseOne to manage payment workflows efficiently

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in accounts payable, payment processing, and reconciliations
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly JD Edwards EnterpriseOne
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills, with attention to detail
  • Bilingual- English and Conversation Portuguese (BR) (REQUIRED)
  • Ability to perform reviews and ensure adherence to corporate procedures
  • Knowledge of foreign currency transactions and validation plans
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
