Job Description

A well-established construction company is seeking an Accounts Payable / Receptionist to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of accounting support and front office responsibilities and thrives in a detail-oriented, fast-paced environment. This role will split responsibilities approximately 50/50 between Accounts Payable and reception/front office support.

Job Responsibility

  • Enter and code invoices into the ERP system
  • Match receipts to invoices and assist with resolving missing documentation
  • Support shared AP processes accounting staff
  • Communicate with field employees to obtain receipts or missing information
  • Assist with general AP data entry and documentation
  • Answer incoming phone calls and provide professional customer service
  • Manage incoming mail and general office administrative tasks
  • Support internal staff and assist with miscellaneous office needs

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage a high-volume desk role
  • Comfortable speaking with employees and vendors by phone
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Previous Accounts Payable or accounting support experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with ERP systems
