A well-established construction company is seeking an Accounts Payable / Receptionist to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of accounting support and front office responsibilities and thrives in a detail-oriented, fast-paced environment. This role will split responsibilities approximately 50/50 between Accounts Payable and reception/front office support.
Job Responsibility:
Enter and code invoices into the ERP system
Match receipts to invoices and assist with resolving missing documentation
Support shared AP processes accounting staff
Communicate with field employees to obtain receipts or missing information
Assist with general AP data entry and documentation
Answer incoming phone calls and provide professional customer service
Manage incoming mail and general office administrative tasks
Support internal staff and assist with miscellaneous office needs
Requirements:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and manage a high-volume desk role
Comfortable speaking with employees and vendors by phone
Strong customer service and communication skills
Previous Accounts Payable or accounting support experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with ERP systems
