Proficiency in using QuickBooks software
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
Demonstrable ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
Familiarity with spreadsheets and proprietary software
Proficiency in English and in Office Suite

Associate’s degree or relevant certification is a plus

Job Responsibility

Effectively handle the receipt and verification of invoices and requisitions for goods and services
Confirm that transactions are in compliance with financial policies and procedures
Prepare invoice batches for data entry purposes
Carry out the data entry of invoices for payment processing
Generate backup reports post data entry
Oversee the maintenance of accounts payable and the general ledger
Keep vendor files and file numbers updated
Manage inventory files and ensure their accuracy
