Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our client's team on a contract basis in Huntsville, Alabama. In this role, you will oversee critical financial functions, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in payment processes. This is a contract to permanent opportunity offering hybrid work schedule.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments
  • Review and approve invoices while ensuring proper coding and compliance with company policies
  • Oversee Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions to ensure smooth processing
  • Coordinate with vendors to resolve payment discrepancies and maintain strong relationships
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial regulations during payment processing
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve accounts payable workflows and efficiencies
  • Monitor and report key metrics related to accounts payable performance
  • Train and guide team members on accounts payable procedures and systems

Requirements

  • Proven experience in accounts payable management or a related role
  • Strong knowledge of invoice coding and payment processes
