Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Payable Shared Services Lead to drive outstanding performance across our Group’s Accounts Payable team. This role is central to delivering operational excellence, fostering an inclusive and change-positive culture, and supporting the Group’s strategic vision in alignment with WGW principles. You will lead a high-performing team, design and implement best practices, and ensure robust financial controls and compliance across global operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the Group’s Accounts Payable Shared Services team
  • Drive performance and embed best practices
  • Manage supplier invoice processing
  • Maintain supplier master data
  • Operate our global Concur expenses platform
  • Ensure the design and operation of robust financial controls
  • Drive the transformation of our global Purchase to Pay Stock and Non-Stock Purchase Ordering processes
  • Deliver accurate internal and external reporting
  • Ensure compliance with Travel & Expenses policies via Concur
  • Manage change initiatives
  • Identify process improvements
  • Promote a unified, high-performing global finance function

Requirements:

  • Proven leader of large Accounts Payable teams
  • Experience operating within a Shared Services environment
  • Strong knowledge of financial controls (preferably including SOX)
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (such as IFS)
  • Strong knowledge of expense platforms (preferably Concur)
  • Excel at process optimisation and driving continuous improvement
  • Comfortable with change and complexity
  • Bring analytical insight and a collaborative mindset
  • Commitment to building inclusive, high-performing teams
  • Ability to influence the business and senior stakeholders to drive process compliance

Nice to have:
