We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee and enhance our full-cycle accounts payable operations. This role is critical for maintaining accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in payment processes while fostering strong relationships with vendors and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing high volumes of invoices and implementing process improvements.
Job Responsibility:
Supervise the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice review, coding, and payment processing
Monitor high volumes of invoices to ensure accuracy and timely approvals in accordance with company policies
Resolve payment discrepancies by collaborating with vendors and internal departments
Manage payments using various methods, including checks, ACH, wire transfers, and foreign currency transactions
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal policies, including timely preparation of 1099 forms and tax filings
Review accounts payable processes for accuracy and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency
Implement new technologies and systems to streamline payment workflows
Provide support and guidance on accounts payable policies and procedures
Generate detailed reports and analyses to support financial decision-making
Train and educate staff on accounts payable policies and best practices
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in accounts payable and management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounts payable software systems
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy
Ability to manage high volumes of invoices and meet strict deadlines
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with vendors and internal teams
