Accounts Payable Clerk

• Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
• Oversee the accounts payable workflow, including invoice matching, payment processing, and resolving discrepancies
• Maintain detailed and organized records of payments
• Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to address payment-related inquiries
• Prepare reports and perform reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Conduct regular account reconciliations
• Assist with check runs and other payment processes

• Minimum of 2 years of recent, hands-on experience in accounts payable roles
• Proficiency in Workday software, specifically for accounts payable functions
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and v-lookups
• Familiarity with accounting systems such as Oracle, SAP, or QuickBooks is preferred
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data processing
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve discrepancies promptly
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for working with teams and vendors
