Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Lenexa, Kansas. This role involves ensuring the accurate review, validation, and processing of invoices within our system. Job Responsibility:

Review incoming invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
Validate invoice details to confirm proper coding and documentation
Process invoices through the system in a timely and efficient manner
Address any discrepancies or errors identified during invoice reviews
Collaborate with team members to resolve invoice-related issues
Maintain organized records of processed invoices for auditing purposes
Ensure adherence to deadlines for invoice approvals and payments
Provide support for accounts payable inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
Participate in ongoing system updates or improvements related to invoice processing

Requirements:

Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Familiarity with invoice processing systems and tools
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
Effective communication skills for resolving invoice-related issues
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
Knowledge of accounts payable best practices and procedures
