Job Description:

This is a long-term contract position within the manufacturing industry, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to financial operations and ensure efficient invoice processing. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a keen eye for accuracy.

Job Responsibility:

Process a high volume of invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper coding
Perform regular check runs to facilitate timely payments to vendors
Verify invoice details and match them with purchase orders and receipts
Accurately code invoices according to company policies and procedures
Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions
Address and resolve discrepancies or issues related to invoices and payments
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial workflows
Prepare reports on accounts payable activities for management review
Ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role
Proficiency in invoice coding and processing
Familiarity with check run procedures
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Effective communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal teams
Knowledge of relevant accounting software and tools
Understanding of regulatory standards and company policies related to accounts payable
