Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Little Rock, Arkansas. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate processing of invoices, reconciling accounts, and maintaining financial records.

Job Responsibility:

Process and verify invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies
perform account reconciliations to ensure all transactions are properly recorded
manage check runs and ensure timely payments to vendors
code invoices accurately and input data into accounting systems
handle data entry tasks related to accounts payable processes
utilize software such as Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, Oracle, and SAP to manage financial data
work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth operations
maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions
assist in month-end closing procedures and reporting
ensure adherence to financial regulations and company standards

Requirements:

Proven experience in accounts payable or similar roles
proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP
strong ability to process and reconcile accounts efficiently
experience with coding invoices and managing check runs
excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
ability to perform accurate data entry tasks
strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams
knowledge of financial regulations and best practices
