Randstad has partnered with a leading, dynamic organization in the healthcare industry, looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team, located in Kitchener. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional to manage a standalone accounts payable function and make an immediate impact.
Job Responsibility
Manage the end-to-end standalone accounts payable workflow, ensuring all vendor accounts remain accurate and up to date
Review, verify, and input a high volume of medical and corporate invoices into the accounting system
Execute three-way matching by reconciling invoices against purchase orders and receiving documentation
Investigate and resolve complex billing discrepancies by communicating directly with vendors and internal department heads
Prepare and process regular weekly payment runs, including electronic funds transfers (EFT) and cheque disbursements
Maintain highly organized digital financial records to ensure compliance with healthcare industry audit standards
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of dedicated accounts payable experience, ideally managing a standalone desk or working with minimal supervision
Experience working with accounting software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms, and Microsoft Excel
Exceptional organizational skills with a proven track record of meeting tight financial deadlines with high accuracy
