Job Responsibility:

  • check, code, and post incoming invoices
  • create, check and record payment runs in the accounting system
  • reconcile the general ledger, subsidiary ledgers, and general ledger accounts independently
  • low-value assets and fixed assets
  • posting and reconciling salary accounts
  • participate in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with German Commercial Code (HGB) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • record provisions and actively support budget planning

Requirements:

  • completed commercial apprenticeship, ideally with a focus on finance or accounting
  • at least 3 years of professional experience – preferably in accounts payable
  • solid knowledge of MS Office, desirable: MS Dynamics Navision / Business Central
  • independent, reliable and results-oriented work style
  • self-initiative, team spirit and a hands-on mentality
  • good understanding of journal entries and account management
