We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Rancho Cucamonga, California. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, a solid background in accounts payable, and familiarity with financial systems. The position will focus on managing full-cycle accounts payable tasks and supporting cash application processes.
Job Responsibility:
Handle the complete accounts payable cycle, primarily for non-inventory items and limited purchase orders
Perform two- or three-way matching for invoices when necessary
Process and apply incoming payments accurately within the system
Prepare weekly check runs, managing one to two batches of payments
Utilize Microsoft Business Central and Excel for daily tasks and reporting
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate invoice coding and processing
Maintain organized financial records and documentation for auditing purposes
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role
Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and financial software such as Microsoft Business Central
Strong understanding of invoice processing and coding
Experience with check runs and cash application processes
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
