Our client is seeking a Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk to support their accounting team on a long-term contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for either an entry‑level candidate eager to grow in the accounting field or an experienced Accounts Payable clerk looking for part‑time work.
Job Responsibility:
Process full-cycle accounts payable, including matching, batching, coding, and data entry
Perform account and vendor reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies
Handle high volumes of invoices efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Collaborate with team members to support departmental needs during medical leave coverage
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all accounts payable functions
Provide support for audits and special projects as needed
Support the AP team with general administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to learn accounting systems and processes quickly
Good organizational and time‑management skills
Team‑oriented with strong communication skills
Must be able to work flexible Part-Time schedule, occasional Fridays off
Nice to have:
Prior experience in Accounts Payable or accounting support
Familiarity with ERP systems
Basic understanding of purchase orders, invoice processing, and GL coding
