We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to support high-volume AP operations in a fast-paced, growing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and supporting overall accounting functions.
Job Responsibility:
Receive, review, and route invoices to appropriate departments for approval
Match invoices to purchase orders and verify accuracy, coding, and approvals
Ensure all transactions comply with internal financial policies and procedures
Accurately enter vendor invoices into accounting systems
Maintain organized records of invoices and supporting documentation
Assist with administrative tasks including mailing checks, completing credit applications, and vendor setup
Collect and maintain up-to-date W-9s and vendor payment information
Perform vendor statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Communicate with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely processing and issue resolution
Support additional projects and duties as assigned by the AP Supervisor
Requirements:
2+ years of Accounts Payable or related experience preferred
Strong data entry skills with the ability to manage high-volume workloads
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and controls
Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and take initiative
Nice to have:
Experience with Acumatica and/or NetSuite is a plus
Audit experience is a plus
