Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Jersey City, New Jersey. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment while utilizing your skills in invoice processing and account reconciliation.

Job Responsibility:

Process and verify invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
Perform account reconciliations to maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records
Conduct regular check runs and ensure timely payments to vendors
Code invoices correctly and input data into accounting systems
Manage data entry tasks with precision and attention to detail
Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies in accounts payable
Utilize software tools such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel for financial tracking and reporting
Assist in preparing reports and documentation related to accounts payable
Maintain organized records of transactions and vendor communications

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related role
Proficiency in software tools including Microsoft Excel, SAP, Oracle, and QuickBooks
Strong knowledge of invoice coding and reconciliation processes
Ability to perform accurate data entry and manage large volumes of financial information
Familiarity with check runs and payment processing
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
