Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, the Accounts Payable clerk will support daily operations and assist with month-end processes, ensuring seamless financial workflows, entering of invoices and scanning. This position requires working with a sense of urgency given the backlog, attention to detail, and a commitment to working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The Accounts Payable clerk should have prior Infinium experience.

Job Responsibility:

Process invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper coding in alignment with company procedures
Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
Execute check runs and manage payment schedules efficiently
Handle data entry tasks to support timely and accurate reporting
Assist in month-end close activities, including working overtime and weekends as required
Utilize Infinium or AS400 systems to complete accounting tasks effectively
Collaborate with purchasing and hospitality departments to ensure smooth financial operations
Support casino gaming-related financial activities in compliance with industry standards
Maintain strong attention to detail while managing high volumes of transactions

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis
Familiarity with Infinium or AS400 systems is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of invoice processing and coding procedures
Experience in the casino gaming or hospitality industry is a plus
Ability to work onsite five days a week and adapt to overtime or weekend shifts during month-end
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
