Accounts Payable Clerk

• Process full-cycle accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payment to vendors
• Conduct three-way matching of purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to verify payment obligations
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in billing and matching documentation
• Apply discounts appropriately and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
• Reconcile vendor statements and promptly address inquiries from vendors
• Maintain comprehensive accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and corporate files
• Assist in monthly financial closings and contribute to administrative tasks as needed
• Uphold internal controls and adhere to established financial procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the accounts payable team

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• intermediate-level skills are a plus
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Oracle, SAP, or QuickBooks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork
• Knowledge of three-way matching processes is preferred
• Proficiency in typing and 10-key data entry skills
